This class is jointly taken by artists and producers to build shared fundamentals for webtoon production. It covers basic drawing, introductory use of digital tools, webtoon storytelling, and project planning.

  • For artists: foundations needed to produce work professionally.
  • For producers: training the eye to evaluate drawing quality.

Lesson 3. Webtoon artist class

  • Explore figure drawing at varied proportions (from chibi to realistic) to find your own style.
  • Learn face-drawing fundamentals and expressive ranges to improve character acting.
  • Analyze directing techniques specific to webtoons.

Lesson 4. Webtoon Artist - Production of Webtoon Works

  • Create a work aimed at professional debut.
  • Prepare a proposal and a sample Episode 1 for platform submission.
  • Once you have an attractive proposal and first episode, submit to a Korean production company.
  • Trainees with compelling artwork may debut in Korea.
